'What is it?' exercise

 

On a brief which challenged us to present an object in a way that would not reveal its identity until the latest shot, our group decided on a fire extinguisher as our subject. 

We used a range of angles, mostly presenting as a close up due to the limited surface of the object that we had to show. Though, in the final shots of the video, we included a few wider framed shots such as a long shot in order to reveal the true identity. 

Over the video, we included the sound "Funky Suspense" by BenSound which accompanied the mysterious tone that we had aimed to create. 

This experience was a helpful insight into framing, as well as fitting image to sound, and is surely a beneficial practical to accompany the planning of the music video.
