 Location search

This hall is the main setting of the music video in which I am portraying an art class. Through the use of full length dance mirrors, I will block the sight of the hall and make it more secluded and comfortable in order to fit the aesthetic of a traditional art class. The large and highly placed windows  also allow for an additional natural lighting to the shots. 

This setting was considered for a sequence of the character reflecting on their past relationship as the scenery is somewhat romantic, which would allow the character to fully embrace their emotions in a broad space. Hills are often a common setting for a reflection in romantic themed texts as they allow the character to have a breathe of fresh air, all while watching something that is presumably beautiful. 

The more naturalistic settings were possibilities for the final scenes in which the third character of the music video buries her memories under the leaves. It was important to find a setting that was open and bright, but also had a sense of seclusion due to the trees. 

This alleyway was considered as a setting for a scene in which the characters would lip sync while also walking the streets to represent a sense of stress, confusion and heartbreak. As well as this, this alleyway exhibits many different street art styles which would aid in continuing the theme of an 'art class'. 

I chose this field in Mousehold Heath as it was a place that was open but also had a sense of solitude as it was surrounded by a fence of woodland. Therefore, the natural light would be allowed to create a light background for the shot.
